Block 5: The Shops Join In
Not wishing to be left out of the colourful revolution (and planning, in conjunction with other landlords and the Parish Council, a Rainbow Route around the town for Pride week), the owner of the terrace of Edwardian houses which includes the toy shop, the head teacher's house, and a newly-restored-back-to-a-family-home house (it was (empty and dilapidated) bedsits for years and was very run down until the previous landlord sold up) asked the youth club to help paint the outside of the buildings (including the bargeboards) in return for the supplies to paint and refit their club house. They enjoyed it so much that they're planning to help other house/building owners/tenants paint their buildings...
