Mini Archie's March Furtle Around The Blogosphere

Archie The Wonder Dog

What a month!!!  I can't believe that it's only been a month since I last wrote a Furtling post but also how the end of the month has snuck up on me once again...

I'll be honest, I haven't done much at all in the last month apart from sorting the sewing room and taking photos of Mini Archie and a Tunnock's teacayk in various locations around the house and garden.  If you're wondering what the latter is about, click here!

I finished piecing an LV block but it's been waiting to be pressed for about three weeks now and shows no sign of taking itself to the ironing board so here it is as is:

And I've made good progress on a pair of socks which I cast on at the start of the month:

And apart from watching far too much news and spending time online when I should be resting, that's about it! How are you coping?

As I said before, I've spent quite a lot of time taking photos of Mini Archie and his teacayk sidekick, here's one from this morning:

Fankoo, Venerable Teacayk for your company and hard work this past week. We salutes you *raises paw to forehead* *clicks feets together*

Linking up to the March Furtle

If you're linking up, please add a link (one per person, please) to your blog post, which could contain: a mosaic of all you've made in the month, something you've made/started/worked on, a goal which you'd like to achieve in the next month (and then in next month's post you can reflect on that goal and set yourself another one - I find this particularly handy if I'm in the midst of a big project and finding the making of hundreds of blocks to be interminable), anything crafty you'd like to share. This isn't just for sewing or quilting, but is for all crafts so if you knit, make lace, make clothes, do anything which could come under the heading of 'craft', then please link up. Please visit the link immediately before and after you and leave an encouraging comment, and more if you can manage it - we all know that comments create joy, so let's spread some around. Also, please treat all the linked posts and their authors with respect - I want this to be an inclusive space for all crafters and crafts and all are welcome. If you're not sure if you're welcome or you belong, you do - this is by no means a closed space and if you want to join, then you are most welcome. If you need help linking up, please leave a comment and I will do my best to help. Please add the Furtling button to your blog post: copy the code below and paste it into your blog post - it should then magically appear when you publish your blog post (I'll do my best to help if you have any problems) and it will help people find the Furtling page with all the details of the link up.

<p style="text-align:center"><a href="https://archiethewonderdog.blogspot.com/p/furtling.html"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTXDD7-BYr5nXJtGn7HIFUcDUZfLGBTpazWKP8TCUWdkA6zd2285lbJX4aoMug6QyKDdxtxA-njWnhvf0GugU-An4z5lTFcqmYnae0Gb68FR0ZmydWYETGSa2oF1NeQDMVNwZBnUHTpsD7/s200/textgram_1548790799.png" alt="Archie The Wonder Dog" /></a></p>

To link up, go to the link at the bottom of this page and click on 'link up' (it's a blue button) and then add your link (website URL), a title (this could be your blog name but could also be something interesting to draw people to it (keep it clean!) if you prefer), and your email. This last one doesn't appear on the link (I will have access to it - I won't use it unless there's a problem and I need to contact you) so don't worry that you're about to share your email address with the world (or the handful of people who find this link), you're not! The link will remain open until 11th April; if you're seeing this post after this date, I'm afraid you can't link up to the March Furtle, but you can link next month if you like.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  4. Okay. Now that Google has decided I'm a friend and permitted me passage ;-) what I said last time was that you have a bit of a colour theme going on there; I can see the colour of those *gorgeous* socks in the LV block. Re; taking itself to the iron, I understand. Of 3 adults in the house, I seem to be the only one who understands such mysteries as the working of the hob, oven, and washer.
Thanks you for playing hide-and-go-seek with us, MA and Teacayk. *waves* *sends feltie ear ruffles* *wonders what Teacayks like* *sends a cool saucer to sit on*

  5. It has been a busy-busy month and very stressful. I am still working full time from home and was disappointed missing the end of month birthday festivities with my quilting guilds that got postponed. I am proud of your room progress and look, you got something made and worked on. I am wondering how the committee is faring with social distancing. Are they using zoom to conference and discuss our lack of progress and increased stress loads? eHUGS!!! Take the best care you can of yourself!!!!!

    1. I hope the festivities will be able to go ahead at some point this year and that your numbers will not be diminished when you next meet. The sewing room is now at a standstill until I can make another appointment with the local firm who were coming to measure the Cupboard Of Doom and draw up some plans and a quote. The Committee are enjoying people being at home more and have become quite fond of 'dropping in' on video calls to check on progress and berate some unfortunates.

      Take care xxx
